Our Story
Modern Style Contractors was established in 2004 by the Tsoy family. Igor Tsoy, a skilled painter and craftsman, started the business after a back injury forced him to transition from construction work to running his own company.
The family immigrated from Kazakhstan to the United States in 1999 with just $1,500 and a dream to build a better life. Through hard work and determination, they built a remodeling company that now serves hundreds of families across the Washington DC metro area.
Today, Sergei Tsoy leads the company, continuing the family tradition of craftsmanship, integrity, and personal attention that has made Modern Style Contractors one of the most trusted remodeling firms in the region.
